Chronology of cameras Kodak
Traduction de Michel Eyraud.
This model (1946-1955) is the successor of Six-20 Flash Brownie (1940-46).
No technical differences between them, just a designation name made in a different order!!!
This camera is no more than a 620 made of metal and derived from the Six-20 Brownie Special. They are sharing together the same trapezoidal body.
The flash batteries are located within the two vertical spaces on each side of the flasholder. When this last one is in position, the shutter release is hidden behind the left leg of the flasholder.
The shutter release is also equipped with a security lock avoiding involuntary release. The focusing is made by inserting an additional lens behind the regular one. It is done by moving a pull knob located under the lens (5 to 10 feet or beyond 10 feet). The other setting (on the right hand side of the lens) allows to select the appropriate time exposure : B or Instant.
